It was an unfinished short film made in 1951, considered as a draft for "The very eye of Night". As with the later masterpiece, Deren films “a choreography for camera” in negative so that the dancers seem to float free of earthbound planes. Sometimes the dancers appear as if figures on a mobile, sometimes as phantasms.
