Standing on a Watermelon in the Dead Sea, the artist's body is seen trying to keep it's balance while mounting the fruit underwater. The attempt to keep a vertical equilibrium while immersed in the salty water is a simile of gravitation defeated; it is here, underwater and at the lowest spot on Earth, that a spectacle of hovering, almost taking flight, unfolds. The video's elongated vertical projection in the exhibition space offers a multi-iconic reading: fertility effigy, crucified female figure, a bird about to take flight of a pillar of salt.
