While some of her previous works have focused on the documentation of architecture, in her recent work, titled "Austral", she shifts her view towards Chilean Patagonia. Austral is the name of the highway that connects northern Chile with Patagonia, a land that today remains largely untouched. For a month she took an isolated journey in this untouched region in order to have a more pure discovery of the influence that the earth and its inhabitants have on her. During this time she recorded her experience in photographs and video. In her video "Patagonia," Correa experiences the landscape and people through the porthole of a ship. As the ship moves with the undulations of the water, the camera captures the lush scenery and actions of daily life.
