The intention is to present a set of ambiguities and contradictions of seemingly unconnected fragments and sequences, expressing the unbearable burden imposed by life chances and fatalities.

The work is a collage in which various visual genres such as performance, photography, film, readymade, comic, and so on, act only as tools, and, as a unifying element, I choose the theme of birds.

Birds become the symbol of the "threat" of everything that disturbs us, invading our country home-cage, pecking and ripping and tearing wound and from the wound, life is born.

House as a place of refuge and reclusion, of dependence and independence, of self-exclusion and segregation. A home-cage-country born dismembered, and always subject to an unpredictable reality. A reality made by the "others" and by us, a reality tinged with fiction, a masked reality that hides another face with also another mask.
