A multidisciplinary artist Xabela engaged from painting to video art. Belongs to the New savages a pictoral group that emerged in Barcelona in the 80´s.

Her first video art piece is Geografia 1986. Her video installations La Voluntad del Instante, 1992 and Unicornios, 1993, are jewels in the field.
