Graduating from the Stockholm University in 1987 with a B A in Literature and Linguistics, Karl Holmqvist first turned to video as a way of combining his interests in language experimentation, text and live performance. Always working with the human communication he tells his stories in ways as films, performances and spoken?word presentations.

His work has been shown all over the world in museums, festivals and fairs.
