Aldo Giannotti finished his post-graduate studies in painting at Academy of Fine Arts, Carrara, Italy, and specialised in video (1998, Wimbledon, UK) and photography (1999, Munich, Germany). In his artistic research Giannotti attempts to translate the oneiric and symbolic imagery of the human psyche while bearing in mind the continuous evolution of the communication society to which the imagery is subject.

He is also the co-founder of Kforumvienna association engaged in the promotion of contemporary visual art and the provision of services related to the presentation of individual artistic approaches by emerging artists. The artist is represented by NT Art gallery and his work has been exhibited at the DIVA Digital & Video Art Fair and the Vienna Biennial amongst others.
