Adad Hannah was born in New York, spent his formative years in London, completed high-school and his Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in Vancouver, and currently lives and works in Montreal where he earned a Masters degree in 2004.

His artworks have recently been presented at The National Gallery of Canada, The Vancouver Art Gallery, Seoul Metropolitan Museum, Ikon Gallery (Birmingham), La Casa Encendida (Madrid), WRO 05 11th International Media Arts Biennale (Poland 2005), G39 (Cardiff 2005), Viper Basel (2004), SeNef Festival/Ilmin Art Museum (Seoul 2004), Big M, Mediakunst Tour (Groningen, Amsterdam, and Nijmegen 2004), and Artists Space (New York 2003).

In Canada he has shown at Ace Art, Alberta Art Gallery, Alternator, B-312, Dazibao, MSVU, Optica, SAW, Séquence, Modern Fuel, Wynick-Tuck, Diaz Contemporary, TPW, and others. In 2004 he won the Images Festival Installation/New Media Award (Toronto).
