Cleverson was born in 1972 in Brazil. He studied sculpture at the Escola de Música e Belas Artes do Paraná. He has shown works including drawing, sculpture, and film at various venues in New York as well as Curitiba, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro. Most recently, he held a solo exhibition at Museu de Arte Contemporãnea do Paraná in Brazil. His past solo exhibitions with M.Y.
