"Valley of the Dreamers" is a fake documentary about Egyptology in the USA. This portrayal of archeology is not about the discovery of the ancient Egyptians, but rather film set and other reproductions of Egyptian architecture in California and Nevada. The project addresses the conflict between the "original" and the "fake", whereby a film set becomes an archaeological object.
