Before entering the World of moviemaking, Tim Hansberry studied Fine Arts. Later he studied post-production sound and graphic animation and video at the School of Visual Arts, specializing in editing. To day he works as an on-line editor.
His most famous project is the movie Public Discourse, wher he worked together with Brad Downey and Quenell Jones. The film examines the painting of street signs, advertising manipulation, metal welding, and posturing and guerrilla art, all performed illegally. Shot in the classic cinema verité style using compact mini-DV and video 8 cameras.
