Rivane Neuenschwander studied Design in the Escola de Belas Artes of the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais and then specialized in sculpture in the Royal College of Art of London. He has been a part of many collective exhibitions in Turkey, the United States, Spain and exhibited individually in Brazil and the United States, among others. In his works he has adressed the passing of time and the ephemerality of human existence.
