Born in New York in 1944, attended Samuel Gompers Vocational and Technical High School in Brooklyn, building his own TV set by age 14, in 1968 designed and built the PCS (Processing Chrominance Synthesizer) which permits controlled colorizing of black and white videotapes and in 1970 a video synthesizer, the EVS (Electronic Video Synthesizer) to create abstract forms at will in color on a TV screen without the use of a camera, currently designs imaging hardware in San Diego, California..
