Born 1959 in Finland. 1981-84 Independent Art School; '80-'85 studied at the Helsinki University; '90-'91 Visual Arts and Film at the London College of Printing; 1994-95 UCLA, Entertainment Studies; Lecturship in the media department at the Academy of Fine Arts in Helsinki; Visiting Lecturer at the Kunstakademi in Oslo; Visiting Lecturer at the Konsthogskolan Valand Gothenburg; several awards and grants. Lives in Helsinki. Winner of the Vincent Prize in 2000.
