***MASTER REVIEW COMING SOON...

While he was working as a car mechanic, director Allan Dwan took him as a camera assistant, and soon after he directed his first movie. Most of his silent films were action movies or westerns where he showed his love for outdoor sports.

1932 is the year when Fleming joined MGM studios, and started his most prolific and prestigious era. He directed two of the most recognizable films of all time, The wizard of Oz and Gone with the wind. But movie lovers remember him more for the film Joan of Arc (1948) with Ingrid Bergman for wich he received seven Oscar nominations and won two. He died quietly soon after finishing this movie.
