Born in 1979 in Kattowitz, Poland. Kwade studied art in Berlin and London. In addition to video art, she has shown photography, sculpture, and installations in galleries throughout Germany. Many of her works use lights and references to astronomy, and her sculptures often take the form of large crystals and diamonds.
