The brothers Norman and Bruce Yonemoto have been producing videotapes collaboratively since 1976. They deconstruct and rewrite the hyperbolic vernacular with which the mass media constructs cultural mythologies. Employing the narrative syntax of popular forms, such as soap opera and TV advertising, they expose the media's pervasive manipulation of reality and fantasy.

Copies of the works of Bruce and Norman Yonemoto can be purchased and rented for exhibition in Video Data Bank, EAI.
