Akram Zaatari is a video artist and curator who lives and works in Beirut. His background as a graduated architecht with a master degree in Media Studies done in New York, gave all his work a strong social perspective.
Zaatari´s videos discuss gender, sexuality and politicla issues related to his country and Middle East.
More than 30 videos give credit to his work. Zaatari is also co-founder of the Fondation Arabe pour l?Image, proyect through which he developed a reseach based on the photographic history of the Middle East.
