Vera Neubauer studied art in Prague, Düsseldorf and Stuttgart, and then film in the Royal College of Art in London in 1969. She has devoted herself to an animation that is a synthesis of the mystic and the banal using for that goal a wide range of inventive and experimental techniques. Her work has been exhibited in many cities and she has won awards in Dresden, Ankara, Melbourne, Montreal and Oberhausen.
